Loligo is the generic name for several sub-species – the most abundant are referred to as California Market Squid (Loligo opalescent).

Most commonly found in the Pacific Ocean – ranging from Baja, California, to Southeastern Alaska.

Ideal for deep water fishing or tipping off baits at shoreline. 

These highly natural scented baits have a proven track record dating back decades in sea angling and more recently catfish angling especially when used whole.

TIP: You can use it whole to a Pennel rig which is fantastic for the larger species. (Big bass just can't get enough of it)

All year round bait. A must have staple. Squid is one of the most versatile and consistent fishing baits available. It is highly effective for targeting:

• Bass

• Rays

• Whiting

• Bull Huss

• Flounder

• Cats

Its strong scent trail attracts predatory species quickly, while the tough flesh makes it ideal for powerful casts and rough ground fishing.
