- An Oldie but Goldie. Sprats have been catching Pike and Zander for decades and an ideal choice when a smaller bait is required.
- Measuring approximately 3-4 inch in length. Because of their smaller size, sprats are also ideal for long range fishing.
- Very oily, with a silver sheen and can be easily flavoured and dyed.
- Tip: Try using just the head or half a sprat fished on a single treble size 8 trace.
- This bait has accounted for many specimen Zander, from a wide range of venues.
- Sprats are very effective when float fished, trotting in rivers, or on a float paternoster rig in still waters.
